The famous author, management consultant and self -described “social ecologist” Peter Drucker once said, “Nothing happens in this world until someone sells something.” For the real estate community, this simple yet brilliant expression could be considered the ultimate business mantra. At Allison James Estates & Homes, our company’s founders and network of successful real estate professionals also understand that the word “sales” is not just a flat description or gutless word. The word “sales” means more than transactions. It includes the human component of meeting new people and making personal connections; it means the professional business etiquette of following up on every lead and setting appropriate expectations; finally it includes the individual attributes of taking care of details and emphasizing a fiduciary stewardship. In short, at Allison James the word “sales” is a synonym for professionalism. That’s why Russell Ali is one of our favorite real estate agents! Representing Bend, OR and the surrounding communities of Central Oregon, Russell is a true professional.
Russell is not only an elite salesman, he is also a classic gentleman who prides himself on creating, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with his clients. In fact, Russell is a highly successful real estate professional in both Oregon and California because of his sales skills, including an infectious personality and empathy for people.
“To be honest, all of my referrals are warm leads that come from former clients or people I know. They tell me ‘we trust you and we’ve heard that you always take care of your clients.’ I’m not a ‘big baller’ agent or anything like that, but I do well because I connect with people. I genuinely have a love for and interest in people,” said Russell.
These words are not empty either. Russell was once a seasoned real estate agent in San Diego for nearly a decade before he and his wife along with their three sons decided to move north to Oregon. This move forced Russell to cultivate new clients in an entirely different part of the country, and develop new sources for leads. It also allowed Russell and his family to slow down a little and enjoy the more soulful parts of life. Today, Russell is a leading Allison James agent in the Pacific Northwest and continues to perfect his sales acumen and interpersonal skills while practicing real estate and working as a marriage counselor for his church.
Congratulations Russell! We are so happy to have you on board the Allison James Estates & Homes team.
So Why Did You Decide To Join Allison James Estates and Homes?
I was attending a meeting at Wells Fargo when I was focusing on bank-owned homes. While I was there I spoke with Marc Carpenter, one of the elite agents in San Diego. He had just made the shift over to Allison James, and said I should really do this. I said, “Wow. If Marc went over there, I should do the same thing.” So I joined Allison James. I did leave Allison James when I moved to Oregon because I knew I needed to join a old and established brokerage firm for a year or so to establish my connections, develop ties, and learn the ins and outs of the area. Now I am back with Allison James because it really fits my program.
What Do You Love Most About Allison James Estates and Homes?
The back office support is amazing! Their online system is really easy and I like all the training and the firm’s proactive approach to real estate. They are always reaching out to me and asking if there is anything I need. It is a great company. I also really love the crest logo and the name.
