SIGN UP FOR QUARTERLY CHARITIES:
Search non profit organizations in your FARM area ex: Boys and Girls Club, Senior Centers, Battered women shelters, your church, anything that runs based on the support of the community. It doesn’t mean you have to give money although as you are making money we hope you choose to donate as you can. But the main purpose of being focused on organizations that need you is you are giving back to your community. Your time in most cases is the most important. You will also build relationships that last a lifetime by doing this. Your community is going to be your biggest asset, so you must make it your priority to give back to it. Do this at least 4 times a year.
1 per quarter. Many of the local organization have a phone number or website and if you see some fundraisers or needs you can plan at beginning of the year the 4 charities you will be helping. Jan-March, April –June, July -Sept, and October –December.
NETWORKING EVENTS :
Plan for at least 4 a year. That’s one per quarter. You can plan for them or you can attend them as you are invited but try to attend at least 4 networking events a year preferably 1 a month to really get your relationship building started and focus on non real estate functions. This could be a Chamber Event, a Business Networking Group like SBRG, Any personal Party is considered to fall in this category, or it could be a Gala or a Meet Up event or Paint Event it goes on and on. Hand out your cards and don’t be afraid to tell people what you do.
